shop frontSituated at 23 Woolton Street in the heart of Woolton Village, the Scotch Beef Shop is the only independent butcher in the area and can cater for all your meat requirements.

Whether it be cooked meats, oven ready meats, chicken, sausages, bacon, burgers or grills we have them here for you, all of them prepared on site. You are our main priority and we go above and beyond to make sure your requirements are met. We also have a home delivery service for orders of £20 or more.

Our award winning sausages, some of them gluten free, are made at the shop. The varied range includes traditional pork, black pepper, spicy lamb and hog roast. sausagesThese can form part of a full English breakfast by adding bacon which is cured on the premises, black pudding that we make ourselves and free range eggs.

Any ready to cook poultry dishes are prepared for sale in the shop. Our chicken kiev is prepared on site by adding garlic butter and breadcrumbs to the chicken before wrapping the product for sale.

At the Scotch Beef Shop, we source our beef from Scotland’s leading red meat manufacturer Scotbeef Limited. They procure only the highest quality of livestock and have a large export market, as well as a Royal Warrant allowing them to supply meat and poultry to the Royal Household at Balmoral.

As well as our free range chickens we sell a Barn Reared chicken which is reared in open barns in the Scottish Borders,sourced from a reputable company that does not supply the supermarket chains.

We sell Salt Marsh Lamb from The Lythe Valley in Cumbria, as well as top quality lamb from the Scottish Highlands and Yorkshire Moors depending on season and time of year.

You can rest assured that any meat you buy from us will not just be of the finest quality but also prepared and stored in the correct way.

Anthony gained various qualifications at Salford University including the Associateship of the Institute of Meat,  Advanced Food Hygiene and a HNC in Food Industry Management along with over thirty years experience in the meat trade means Anthony is very well placed to offer you the very best in knowledge, service and advice. Our Hygiene standards are second to none, we operate  a full HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) system in the shop which includes daily temperature controls, monitoring of hygiene procedures which all help to ensure the safety of any meat or other products sold in the shop.
